Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) n. 2016/679

Pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) n. 2016/679, also known as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”), Mazzini Lab S.r.l. benefit informs you that your personal data (hereinafter the “Data”) will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and any applicable legislation regarding the processing of personal data in accordance with the following information.

Categories of Data

The Data processed by the Controller includes: (i) personal details (name, surname, age, gender), residence or domicile address and contact details (telephone, email address), tax code, information relating to professional activity.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing. Legitimate interest.

Personal and possibly sensitive Data, voluntarily provided, will be processed for the following purposes, until opposition:

  • registration to the Site;
  • subscription to email newsletters;
  • sharing of content present on the site;
  • generic request for information.

The Data will be processed for the fulfillment of administrative purposes related to registration for training courses and legal obligations, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the GDPR, as well as the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Controller, under art. 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR, in reference to:

  1. carrying out all phases related to the activities and/or adherence to specific projects and appeals promoted by the Controller, including instrumental activities (e.g.: communications on payments, summary of training course registrations);
  2. compliance with internal administrative procedures and fulfillment of legal obligations or regulations in force in Italy;
  3. sending commercial and promotional communications relating to projects, activities, and initiatives, as well as surveys and research reserved for subscribers and other subjects who have previously expressed interest in the Controller’s actions, in order to raise public awareness of its projects.

In any case, the processing of your Data carried out on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest takes place, in addition to compliance with the provisions of art. 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR, also in accordance with the provisions of recital no. 47 and Opinion no. 6/2014 Article 29 Data Protection Working Party, par. III.3.1.

Methods of processing

Your Data is collected and recorded lawfully and correctly for the purposes indicated above and is also processed with the aid of electronic and automated tools, including through inclusion and organization in databases, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR regarding security measures, and, in any case, in such a way as to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the Data itself.

Recipients or categories of recipients.

The Data may be made accessible, brought to the knowledge of, or communicated to the following subjects, who will be appointed by the Controller, as the case may be, as processors – whose list is available at the Controller’s headquarters – or persons in charge of processing:

  • non-profit organizations of the group to which the Controller belongs, employees and/or collaborators in any capacity of the Controller;
  • public or private entities, natural or legal persons, used by the Controller to carry out instrumental activities to achieve the purposes mentioned above or to whom the Controller is required to communicate the Data by virtue of legal or contractual obligations.

In any case, the Data will not be disseminated.

Rights of access, erasure, restriction, and portability.

The Controller informs you that you are granted the rights referred to in articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR. By way of example, by sending a specific request to the email address privacy@mazzinilab.it, you may:

1. obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed;

2. if processing is underway, obtain access to the data and information relating to the processing, as well as request a copy of the data itself;

3. obtain the rectification of inaccurate data and the integration of incomplete personal data;

4. obtain, if one of the conditions provided for by art. 17 of the GDPR exists, the erasure of Data concerning you;

5. obtain, in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the GDPR, the restriction of the processing of Data concerning you;

6. receive the Data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and request its transmission to another controller, if technically feasible.

Right to object

Pursuant to art. 21 of the GDPR, you will also enjoy the right to object at any time to the processing of your Data carried out for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Controller by writing to the email address privacy@mazzinilab.it.

In case of opposition, the Data will no longer be processed, unless there are legitimate reasons to proceed with the processing that prevail over the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subjects, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a right in court.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority

The Controller also informs you that you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if you believe that your rights under the GDPR or any other applicable legislation have been violated, according to the methods indicated on the website of the Data Protection Authority accessible at: www.garanteprivacy.it.

What is a cookie and what is it for

Cookies are small text strings that are saved in the user’s browser folders while browsing websites and contain certain information (indication of the server from which they were generated or the domain, duration or expiration date, a unique identification code, a unique value, etc.)
